Welcome to Intown!

Wilmington Youth Soccer Association’s Intown Program provides children who live in Wilmington the opportunity to play organized recreational soccer with one another.   

The program is instructional in nature and children are taught the basic individual and team skills needed to play the game of soccer, to learn the rules of the game, to compete, and to win and lose gracefully. Every child in the Intown program is given equal opportunity to play regardless of ability. Players in the Intown program practice once per week and play games on Saturdays.   

All Intown sessions are overseen by professional coaching staff, with WYSA volunteer coaches utilizing training videos, session plans and on-field demonstrations provided by professional staff as the basis for their sessions. All WYSA volunteer coaches are required to be CORI cleared by the state of Massachusetts.  

WYSA actively promotes coach development and education to improve the level of coaching in the program, by hosting courses, providing session plans and providing WYSA Coaching Clinics.  

The WYSA Intown program caters to over 500 players each spring and fall season.  The Intown program covers the critical ages of a player's development where they begin to grow a passion for the game.
