BOD Meeting Minutes:
Motioned by Flynn, 2nd by Foresyth to accept August 2015 General & Exec Session BOD Meeting Minutes. Motion Passes 12-0-3.
Motioned by Card, 2nd by Elliot to accept the August 2015 Financials. Motion Passes 12-0-3

U16/U18 spring and winter sessions should be opened October/November respectively

November 7th tentative HS spring tryout dates.Likely to move due to HS playoffs.
Fundraising

March 11th is 2nd Annual WYSA Night out at the Tewksbury Elks
Travel Refs

Struggling to fill all positions each week.Particularly center refs.

8th grade intown levels are low (short term), 6th and 7th are high currently

Review of reimbursing certification moving forward to help retain

Fall 2015 registration at 557.All time high led by PreK

NEW BUSINESS:

WYL will be using Shawsheen Sundays and Friday night in the Spring

Professional team photos being proposed for Oct 17th.Not a fundraiser to keep costs low to membership.

New BOD positions available for next year for those interested.

Motion by Flynn, 2nd by Elliot to begin WYSA Metrics testing with U8 through U12.Motion rescinded.Further review and testing over remaining Fall season.

Travel Sub Committee post mortem

Additional education for coaches at younger ages on how to evaluate players

US Soccer approved changes and the impact on WYSA
Motion by Foresyth, 2nd by O’Mahoney to change the Travel policy to only allow coaches to attend coach’s night if player evaluations were submitted by that coach. Motion passes 15-0-0
Motion by Foresyth, 2nd by Maiella to change the Travel policy to allow only one training evaluation for a new player coming from out of town after PPE’s to establish placement where openings permit. Motion passes 13-1-1
